ini hanya analisis beberapa website,

army yang memiliki umur masih muda ini dilatih langsung dari US, portugis dan australia, dimana kemampuan menembak dan mengoperasikan alutsistanya mendapatkan dukungan langsung....

melihat dari negaranya yang kecil dengan jumlah penduduknya kemampuan army negara ini cenderung lebih mengkonsentrasikan terhadap ancaman dari utara, timur dan barat ( )

namun ancaman yang lebih berbahaya adalah dari dalam timor leste sendiri dimana penduduknya kebanyakan memiliki tingkat ekonomi yang rendah dan munculnya konflik2 kecil, bahkan ada yang dirasa belum puas dengan mandirinya timor leste


ada yang punya source lebih lengkap mengenai militer timor leste?
karena angkatan udara nya kebanyakan source adalah kerjasama dengan RAAF

ada dua kekuatan gan di sana antara portugal dan aussie. Status tentaranya masih under UN dengan ISAF nya. tentara aussie yg masih bercokok di sana kira2 sekitar 400 an personel. oh ya just info UN missionnya akan berakhir 2012 nanti gak tau tuh nanti kalo udah di tinggal ama UN gimana kondisinya....

untuk pesawat tempur masih join dengan RAAF

Yang diutamakan sama mereka pasti untuk COIN dulu, lebih ke dalam. sama patroli perbatasan, mencegah penyelundupan barang dari Indonesia

betul gan... estimasi perkiraan saya indonesia pasca 2012 akan mengambil posisi penting dalam hal ini, pasti perang saudara bakalan banyak yang melintasi border, selain itu, bisa jadi propaganda adanya ketidak puasan atas pimpinan mereka.... itupun kalau 2012 ga kiamat

belum lagi militer dan police belum battle proven dan punya pengalaman banyak menghadapi masalah2 huru hara sendirian,
suplai bahan pokok diputus aja di border....
