00:24 andy: that was an email sent to another Indonesia account, same would apply for you
00:24 ME: yes, but why many of my friends havent received any email yet. They believe that their account will not be closed unless they receive email from TOS, what do you think?
00:26 ME : If i dont close my account by Feb 21 as no announce letter from TOS, what would happened?
00:27 andy: according to that email, i would say any of your friends that attempt to open any new positions now will get a reject message saying this account is closing only. although i see your account is not set to closing only yet
00:27 andy: i imagine over the next few days those accounts will be switched over
00:28 ME: what's your suggestion? should i wait, or should i withdraw my fund asap? would there be any chance that the policy might changed?
00:31 andy: no there is now chance the policy will be changed, at least now for a while. i would not attempt to open any new postions since you have none now. i'd say withdraw your funds when it's convienent for you. there is no rush in requesting a withdraw, the money will be here it's just there will not be any trading activity allowed in this account
00:33 ME: ok andy, thank you. But may i know why TOS decided to close all account from Indonesia?
00:33 ME : Would it only be for short term or for good?
00:33 andy: After assessing global requirements for conducting international business, thinkorswim by TD Ameritrade has decided that we will no longer open or maintain accounts in certain international jurisdictions.
00:34 andy: this was the reason in that email
00:35 ME: okay then. Thanks for your helpful information Andy
