►Para Senior,
I hope one or two would be able to shed some lights with regards to the following queries (e-mailed ISC the same but no luck so far):
1) It states on their website that this course will be taught in Malay language. Will it be completely in Malay language or both in English as well? This makes me wonder because for those who do not produce IELTS certificate upon their application (incl. me), will need to sit an English Language Placement Test and moreover, to have an over 4 months English AND Malay language course (aka foundation course).
2) The total credit hour for the conferment of this course degree is 124 for MINIMUM 7 semesters. Would there be a probability to finish the study earlier than 7 semesters?
3) Residential college, is it provided only for first semester? Would this mean the first semester of the study, in which foundation course is not included?
4) What would be the range for living out of residential college?
5) Public transport in Kuala Lumpur; is there any discounts offered for students?
6) Based on their module, it says that there will be a short semester on year 3 for practicum. Is it some sort of internship? If yes, how long would it actually be?
7) I have been advised that it would be better to arrive a few days earlier prior the reg date, to have enough times in arranging and completing all necessary formalities. Rumah Universiti is fully booked during this period. Please, can anyone advise for any budget accommodation which is walking distance from the Uni?
8) Will International Student need to attend the orientation week along with local students?
9) Please, can anyone refer any blogs/forum re University of Malaya or International and Strategic Studies (except PPIUM)? My Google seems to fail me in locating one
Thank you so much for reading and all your responses

Pertama2, kok pake bahasa Inggris yah? saya gak ngerti...

yaudah deh, saya pake google translate aja
1. At first, if you apply to international course, of course all of the subjects will be English spoken (except Bahasa Kebangsaan subject). There's a lot of students from foreign country come to study, so there's no point if they deliver the subject in Malay language in International class.
2. It depends, some subjects may not offered in every semester. So at least you read your syllabus and follow them to make sure at least you complete your study on time.
3. I can't answer this, please contact their marketing services.
4. Depend on where do you want to stay, and type of the residential itself, the price may vary from RM300-RM1000 each room (I consider u r staying in Petaling Jaya Area)
5. Yes. There's Rapid KL Card for students. Apply in Pasar Seni LRT Station, and bring your student card + your verification letter from your university.
6. I'm not sure about this, but last time my friend from University Malaya, had to do internship for at least 6 months. He was in IT course, and the period may be vary for every faculty.
7. You can look for short stay apartment in iBilik.my or there's a bunch of budgeted hotel in KL as well.
8. Not sure about this. But for your information only, orientation is not compulsory in my previous campus.
9. Have no idea about this, sorry. You can ask the other students later after you join.
Hope this will help.
