Mbak Vyuli, kenalan dong. Aku kemarin baru jalan2 ke Chicago tapi krn cuma 2 hari jd cuma sempat ke Navy Piers dan Millenium Park. Lain kali kalau ke sana lagi mau dong ditemenin Mbak...biar bisa ke tempat2 yg memang benar2 bagus tapi gak bikin bocor kantong (duile Navy Pier parkir aja $24...kebangetan deh). Oya...aku posisinya ada di sebelah selatan Illinois, dekat St. Louis.

Details: The Southeast Asian Culture Night celebrates the culture of Southeast Asia through different cultural performances.

This year's theme "festivals" and features special guest performances from JJ Thai Dance, the Indonesian Consulate of Chicago and the Dixon Muay Thai Academy.

Food will be provided. This event is free and open to all.

boleh.. next time PM aja dulu, kali aja schedule nya cocok.
kalau parkir di downtown memang mahal, mbak. bisa bangkrut D
aku seh biasanya naik kereta dr rumah (Metrarail). Kalau Metra, tiket weekend 5 dollar unlimited selama weekend (bisa pake 3 hari, jumat, sabtu, minggu). Kalau pake CTA bisa beli tiket terusan yg seharian ato 3 harian, ato semingguan unlimited naiknya (termasuk naik bus2 di downtown yg group nya CTA), parkirnya di public parkingnya CTA station aja, lebih murmer.

Wah, makasih ya. OK, next time, I'll send you a PM first. Memang kemarin tuh niatnya mau naik public transport aja, tp selain karena waktunya pendek (cuma semalam dua hari) persiapannya kurang sih jd blm cari info tentang parkiran dan itinerary-nya. Jadi ya gitu deh...bayar parkirannya gak rela gitu....sambil geleng2...biar mahal kok penuh banget dan susah cari spot kosong.

Kirain ke Lake Michigan mau berenang ato mancing...he..he..he. Kaskuser di US pernah kopi daratan gak sih? Kalau di forum kayaknya pada udah akrab ya sebangsanya Malingcewek, Cantaloup, dkk. Justru sebangsanya dakoe neh yg di tengah2 malah blm pernah ke west coast.

Nunggu diajak dulu mungkin. Padahal sih kalau mau mendarat ke Chicago, pasti akan banyak juga yg mau ketemuan ya Vyuli? Bagusnya emang ketemuan tuh di tengah2...hi...hi...jd bisa dateng dr dua penjuru, east and west coast. Ayolah kalau ada yg mau summer vacation ke mid-west, seru kalo rame2 kan. Foto2 di the Bean Millenium Park tuh yg paling seru...soalnya gak pake mahal..ha..ha..ha.

1 jam pertama free? Tapi tarif parkirnya disebut flat rate $24 kok. Berarti guenya aja yg gak ngeh ya. Nah ini dia kelebihan kalau bisa dpt info dr yg memang tinggal di situ. Ah emang kemaren tuh kayak turis kejebak aje...he..he..he.

Hari Jumat kemarin baru ke Navy Pier lagi anteriin teman. ehh.. baru tau pas mau masuk parkir udah ga ada tulisan free 1 jam pertama. hmm.. jadi tak berani tanggung resiko, keluar mundur. LOL... Dulu g seyakin2nya ada, soale parkir beberapa kali di sana, terakhir Fall menjelang winter 2009. less than an hour FREE.

ga tau sejak kapan dia berubah jadi ga free ya.. apa memang masih free cuma papan pengumumannya ilang?
