[Need Help] Certificate of Toefl iBT - I don't get one
Dear Juragan/Sir/Madam/

I want to ask something

I took ibt toefl test and i've already received the score.
But the score is only on the ets website which i can only view the details
Do I actually get the score in the form of paper and soft copy?
I am pretty clueless I need the score either in paper or soft copy form cause there is a requirement to attach English Language Certificate in some college i want to apply
How is it exactly the certificate?

Thank u very much

Mmmm....hello gan sijunka shakehand
surely you will get the hard copy sent to your address (1 copy-light green paper). However, it'll take about a month after the availability of the on line score.
Well, actually you deserve to get 4 free original score papers if you filled in the "Order Score Report" section. (In this case, I am using Harvard University as my score recipient D)

In case you forgot to request the original 4 free scores, you need to execute the steps from your iBT TOEFL profile again and you'll be charged 17USD for each score.

Thanks for the info
I thought if I did not request those 4 scores, all of those would be mailed to my home. Fortunately, I chose to send one of them to my friend's home, hahaha..

The best way to improve reading skills is to read frequently and to read many different types of texts in various subject areas (sciences, social sciences, arts, business and so on). Make sure to regularly read texts that are academic in style, the kind that are used in university courses. The Internet is one of the best resources for this and, of course, books, magazines and journals are very helpful as well.
Here are a few suggestions for ways to build your reading skills:
• Scan passages to find and highlight key facts (dates, numbers, terms) and information; practice this frequently to increase reading rate and fluency.
• Practice skimming a passage quickly to get a general impression of the main idea, rather than carefully reading each word and each sentence.
• After skimming a passage, read it again more carefully and write down the main idea, major points and important facts.
• Identify the passage type (e.g., classification, cause/effect, compare/contrast, problem/solution, description, narration and so on).
• Organize the information in the passage:

o Create an outline of the passage to distinguish between major and minor points.
o If the passage categorizes information, create a chart and place the information in the appropriate categories (Note: on the TOEFL iBT, you do not have to create such a chart. Instead, a chart with possible answer choices is provided for you, and you must fill in the chart with correct choices.) Practicing this skill will help you think about categorizing information so you can do it with ease.
o Create a summary of the passage using the charts and outlines.

good luck beer:

well, it needs extra efforts and times to practice and evaluate the way you pronounce English words correctly. You can use American/English films as your role model. Try to record your voices and compare them to the native speakers.
Once you are improving with the pronunciation, the speed/rhythm of your speaking is improving as well. Spend more times to chit chat in English with people who have better quality of English so that you will get extra knowledge from them :2thumbup
