actually i have tried all of the tips you describe.
i sing a song, read alout and a lot and etc.
but the problems that come to me are the self esteem and vocabulary.
sometimes if i have high slf esteem, i can speak english fluently. but when it doesnt come, i fell blank. my brain is not working well in english. i have a resistancy in translating indonesia to english.
and, when i speak indonesian and suddenly there is native speaking english to me, i cannot automatically switch my languange to english.
what should i do to overcome this?

for the vocabullary, yes i confess i dont really take much time to learn many vocabs. but i always trying to keep them up in my mind by writing it my memo or something like that. but worsely, i dont have a chance to use the written-vocab, because i think the conversation topic is not about that (as always).
so is there any way to enrich my vocabullary?
thank you in advance.

The 10 Secrets to Speaking English = wrong.
It should be: "10 secrets to speak English".

I am a student of English Department of Politeknik Negri Bandung.
I have some experiences about learning and improving your speaking.
My lecturer taught me that:

If you want to be good in Speaking, you have to speak up. If you dont know, you should ask. Stay foolish and ask everything. This is the first point of view.
The second is you gotta have a good partner. Your best friend maybe. Everyday, you just speak English with her/him. Dont be afraid if you're wrong. This is called learning. I believe your speaking will improve.

Trust me, it works.
Hope my experiences will be useful for all of you guys.
Thanks.
