gan2, mau nanya
Minggu kemarin (hari nya lupa, rabu kalo ga slh si) saya beli Jengis Khan 30 cm 1 ekor
pulang kerumah muntah (kayaknya karena stres ya)
nah pertanyaannya
kok sampai skrg belum mw makan yah?
nah , skrg gimana dong?
apakah saya balikin aja dan uang sy kembali?
katanya sih gpp

atau tunggu aja?

thx D

yg jawabannya bagus sy kasi cndol \)

Weqs, muntah??

- Part 2

Numpang repos kliping ane ttg Gar dr tret sebelumnya hihi... siapa tau ada yg belum baca.. haha...

Quote:

Family Lepisoteidae

* Genus Atractosteus

o Atractosteus spatula - Alligator Gar
Spoiler for Alligator Gar
The Largest Gar. The Alligator Gar ("Gator Gar"), Atractosteus spatula, is a primitive ray-finned fish. Unlike other Gars, the mature Alligator Gar possesses a dual row of large teeth in the upper jaw. Its name derives from the alligator-like appearance of these teeth along with the fish's elongated snout. The dorsal surface of the Alligator Gar is a brown or olive-color, while the ventral surface tends to be lighter. Their scales are diamond-shaped and interlocking (ganoid) and are sometimes used by Native Americans for jewelry.

o Atractosteus tristoechus - Cuban Gar
Spoiler for cuban gar
Sharing Seputar Ikan Predator/Ikan Buas. - Part 2

o Atractosteus tropicus - Tropical Gar
Spoiler for Tropical gar
The tropical gar, Atractosteus tropicus, is a fish found in freshwaters from southern Mexico to Costa Rica, reported to reach lengths of up to 1.5 m in the wild (albeit often much smaller in captivity). The tropical gar looks very similar to the longnose gar in color and markings, but can be distinguished by its shorter, broader snout. The tropical gar's diet consists mainly of cichlids and other fish.
Sharing Seputar Ikan Predator/Ikan Buas. - Part 2

* Genus Lepisosteus

o Lepisosteus oculatus - Spotted Gar
Spoiler for spotted gar
The spotted Gar (Lepisosteus oculatus) is a primitive freshwater fish of the family Lepisosteidae, native to North America from the Lake Erie and southern Lake Michigan drainages south through the Mississippi River basin to Gulf Slope drainages, from lower Apalachicola River in Florida to Nueces River in Texas, USA. It has a profusion of dark spots on the body, head and fins. It occurs in quiet, clear pools and backwaters of lowland creeks, small to large rivers, oxbow lakes, swamps and sloughs. It occasionally enters brackish waters. The fish is a voracious predator feeding on various kinds of fishes and crustaceans. They are notable for being one of the few extant fish species with ganoid scales.

o Lepisosteus osseus - Longnose Gar

The longnose gar, Lepisosteus osseus, is a primitive ray-finned fish of the gar family. It is also known as the needlenose gar.

Sharing Seputar Ikan Predator/Ikan Buas. - Part 2

o Lepisosteus platostomus - Shortnose Gar
Spoiler for shortnose gar
Shortnose gar can be discerned from other gar species in that they lack the upper jaw of the alligator gar, the long snout of the longnose gar, and the markings of the spotted gar. It's a very strange fish.

o Lepisosteus platyrhincus - Florida Gar
Spoiler for Florida Gar
The Florida Gar (Lepisosteus platyrhincus) is a species of gar that is found in the USA from the Savannah River and Ochlockonee River watersheds of Georgia and throughout peninsular Florida. Florida gars can reach a length of over 3 feet (132 cm). The young feed on zooplankton and insect larvae, as well as small fish. Adults mainly eat fish, shrimp and crayfish. Although edible, they are not popular as food. The roe is highly toxic to many animals, including humans and birds.
