i vote for vocabulary, when you did it right
you may have a good grammar

I think both things are very important,you cant just choose between grammar or vocabulary...these two things are connected,i know to understand grammar a bit hard,even me up until now used to do the same mistake in grammar..but,for me..when i talk to my friends,i just use the 'gaul' language..its depend actually to whom you talking to..

Vocabulary is safer to learn first. Because we learnt vocabulary since our first year then grammar in third year in Indonesia

I think we should choose both of them. Because if you only study the vocab but you don't know how to use it, it just make other people got confused. In other hand, if you just study the grammar but you don't have enough vocab, you can't talk much

both of them are important and can't be separated.
it's a waste if you have a wide knowledge of vocab and a huge zero for grammar.
you'll end up translating Indonesian words one by one and produce a 'broken english'
example:
I don't want to sick my liver for 2 river
(saya tidak mau sakit hati utk kedua kalinya)

In my understanding, It really depends on the question what is your goal?
I don't know any method that make you could learn speaking with grammaticaly correct sentences and vast range of vocabularies
When I was learning how to speak, I tend to believe that I should overcome my anxiety first. It's a good thing to make some mistakes. When you already have built your self-confidence, Correct grammar would come as 2nd nature
To expand your vocabulary, My best advice is simple : Read and Write more. Blogging helps

i think grammar first is better, because grammar is more difficult than vocab

If you speak English fluently, then you can work on your grammar. Don't put 'I DON'T LIKE GRAMMAR," on the first place, but try to like it. It will be alot easier, cause your English is good enough And sorry to critique but its friends not friend's if it's my mistake, forgive me.

I'd rather choose vocabs. Because some people don't mind about grammar, as long as you can make conversations & they understand you, that's okay
But still.. both are important, though.

yup,,the point in conversation is you can understand each other,,but if you speak with better grammar to people,,people will easier getting the information that you are talking about,,
so if the grammar were scrambled around,,someone will hardly understand to what you are saying,,
so in conversation we have to understand each other EASIER,,
