I used to (well, until now actually) worked as a translator.
my clients were just people from my campus, my friends, friends of my relatives, etc.

but then I got a job as re-writer.
and it's much more challenging than translate English to Bahasa Indonesia.
but the pay is good. and the boss is nice too

but,, I stopped taking those jobs.
ten articles a day is tiring.
I'm just a college girl with plenty homeworks~

I think I once worked similar project as you, where I was given a material (used to be article), then I should re-write it. I found it was more difficult for myself to do that, because I have to be creative re-telling the article's content. I think I didn't enjoy it much.

Just for additional information, after you did l08l's advice, you should try to raise your Kudos point. It would help you much since consumer used to see Kudos point as reference.
I got the tip from my neighbor who also a translator who received many jobs from Proz (who's also a leader candidate for HPI of East Java region), Sutarto M.
I wish your luck with Proz...
