too many to mention, but here are some of my favorites:
Stephen King:
Insomnia
The Shining
Skeleton Crew
The Dark Half
Dolores Umbridge
Firestarter
E.B White: Charlotte's Web
Emily Bronte: Wuthering Heights
J.K Rowling: Harry Potter series
Michael Chabon: The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay
Paulo Coelho: The Alchemist
Thomas Keneally: Towards Asmara
Jane Austen: Pride and Prejudice

as you can see, i'm in love with King's books. almost all of them are thriller and mystery. he is an amazing author. i love the way he presents the plot of the stories and the twisted ending that i can never guess.

but currently, i have been reading The Rainmaker by John Grisham.
this one is a page turner. i like it \)

i did stephen king chaterine too... happen to bored at one time then reading that.. thing. i regret it till now, pretty scary stuff, only finished it out of curiosity but i will not read any of his work ever again.

I read a lot, kinda confusing to write down the books I have read. But these are some english books I've read recently:
1. Don't Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro (you should also watch the movie!)
2. A Walk to Remember - Nicholas Sparks (english version is more touching than Indonesian version)
3. The Godfather - Mario PuzO
4. Love Story - Erich Segal (also more touching than Indonesian version)
5. The Andromeda Strain - Michael Crichton
6. Chicken Soup for The Soul
7. Romeo and Juliet - William Shakespeare (original version, I didn't understand much of those old writing style, but still fun to read it)
8. Etc..etc..

You can download a lot of good readings from the internet, and it's free! ;) What books have you read?

actually the first novel I read in a while.
so i'm afraid i can't give you any recommendation..

And what a coincidence, the book i'm reading now speaks of great gatsby, as one of those books only few people would be interested in.
